Here is a basic article about staying/getting fit during the month of Ramadan (or any other time, really). It recommends the obvious - maintain some level of muscle-building and exercise, and if you want to lose weight, eat a balanced diet of about 500 calories less than your maintenance level per day, and don't skip suhoor. There is a calculator there to help determine your maintenance level.
So my basic plan is 1300 calories/day (including after the month of fasting) and for exercise a.m. yoga and/or walking and/or 10-minute total body breakthrough workouts. Anyone else want to make a plan? Share here!
